Clothing and Gift Area Sales Assistant (part time incl weekend)
Our clothing & gift sales assistants play a key part in the success of Fron Goch. We want to create an amazing shopping experience, combining an expert understanding of our products, and a friendly, welcoming environment for our customers.
We are looking for an exceptional person to work as part of the team and be responsible for delivering the exceptional customer experience for which we are renowned.
Working closely with the Gift Area Supervisor and Retail Manager specific responsibilities will include:
Being an expert on our clothing and gift products and procedures
Assisting in the overall day to day running of the shop
Providing the highest standards of customer service
Maintaining the standards of Fron Goch
Any other duties required to achieve the smooth and profitable running of the clothing and gift area.
Help Desk/Customer Service Assistant (full or part time)
Do you thrive in a busy environment and have the ability to work under pressure whilst keeping a smiling, calm and helpful attitude is also a requirement.
Working closely with the Retail Operations Manager & Shop Supervisors we are looking for someone with:
The ability to speak to a varied range of people - from team members to customers and visitors
Have customer service experience in a retail environment
Respond effectively to all telephone queries and complaints, using effective listening, questioning and problem-solving skills.
In the role you will create an internal link between departments to ensure queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently
Marketing & Events Assistant (part time/weekends when necessary ie events)
We are looking for a person that loves people and enjoys entertaining.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, we are looking for someone to:
Play an active role within events (organising and running events from start to finish). Help co-ordinate with relevant departments. Ability to create and oversee event action plans.
Experience within events and marketing would be beneficial. An understanding of social media using a variety of platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Blogs etc is important.
Have excellent time, people and organisational skills
Design skills (on a tool such as Photoshop) – preferred but not essential.
Create engaging content to support events, marketing and communications activities
Weekend Till Assistant. (weekend/holidays cover)
We are looking for a person who is able to assist our Customer Service & Retail team to deliver the highest level of service in our busy till area. Are you a reliable, hardworking individual who would like to join our friendly garden centre team?
You must be enthusiastic and possess a friendly, approachable customer focused personality. Welsh and English speaking is an advantage.
Hours: Saturdays, Sunday. Up to 17 hours per week.
Plant Area Weekend Assistants – Seasonal Vacancy
Do you have a passion for plants and enjoy working as part of a busy team? Would you enjoy maintaining good housekeeping standards?
Seasonal sales assistant required to work up to 18 hours a week. The role will include helping maintain the plant area and assisting customers. You must be enthusiastic and posses a friendly, approachable customer focused personality. Welsh and English speaking is an advantage.
Hours: Saturday and/or Sunday.
Role is to end July.
Compost Area Assistant
We are looking to recruit a reliable, hardworking individual to join our friendly garden centre team. Physical fitness is a must as manual handling is often required.
The role will include helping and assisting customers. You must be enthusiastic and posses a friendly, approachable customer focused personality.
Hours: Saturday and/or Sunday. Up to 17 hours per week.
